Growing Together- Community Gardens

Marshfield Clinic and Healthy Lifestyles – Marshfield Area Coalition established 80 garden beds at three community garden sites, Church of Christ, Good Shepherd Church, and First Presbyterian Church to:

  • Provide a place for Marshfield area residents to garden
  • Support local food production
  • Provide garden education to youth, adults, and families

The Healthy Lifestyles – Marshfield Area Coalition Garden Committee developed a toolkit for groups, communities, and organizations interested in establishing their own community garden. Click here to access the toolkit.

Garden sites are supported by UW-Extension Wood County Master Gardeners through Master Gardener Volunteer support and grant support and managed by a group of local citizens dedicated to community supported gardening opportunities. If you wish to join this group, contact one of the people listed below.
