Presented by MGVs Barb Herreid, Chris Griffith, and Micky Erickson for our next monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 19, the tour starts at 6:30pm in the Fine Arts Room at McMillan Memorial Library, 490 E Grand Ave, Wisconsin Rapids. The presentation will be followed by a short business meeting. The public is always invited to our monthly meetings. Hope to see you there!

The Growing Friends Community Garden on the corner of Hill and Spruce Street is having a workshop September 14th entitled “The ABCs of Dividing and Transplanting Rhubarb Plants”. This FREE workshop will begin at 10 am and will give instructions on how to correctly divide and transplant rhubarb plants during the fall season. Participants will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge learned during the class. In addition, the care of rhubarb plants both in traditional beds and containers will be covered. Our Garden Walk provides the major funding for the work that we do…education about horticulture for adults and children and beautification of many public properties around Wood County. Come and enjoy a beautiful day!
Tickets are available from any WCMG volunteer or at the vendors listed on the poster. They will also be available at each featured garden the day of the walk. Locations will be published later.

Wood County Master Gardener Volunteers are partnering with the Lester Library in the town of Rome to present gardening seminars on a variety of topics every 3rd Tuesday of the month through October 2019.
