SUPER STAR
- I also want to bring your attention to the SUPER STAR training scheduled for 3 spots across the state. This program is in lieu of a single, large WIMGA conference and will emphasize volunteer skills development. The ABCs of Dividing and Transplanting Rhubarb Plants
The Growing Friends Community Garden on the corner of Hill and Spruce Street is having a workshop September 14th entitled “The ABCs of Dividing and Transplanting Rhubarb Plants”. This FREE workshop will begin at 10 am and will give instructions on how to correctly divide and transplant rhubarb plants during the fall season. Participants will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge learned during the class. In addition, the care of rhubarb plants both in traditional beds and containers will be covered. Garden Walk 2019
Our Garden Walk provides the major funding for the work that we do…education about horticulture for adults and children and beautification of many public properties around Wood County. Come and enjoy a beautiful day!
Tickets are available from any WCMG volunteer or at the vendors listed on the poster. They will also be available at each featured garden the day of the walk. Locations will be published later.
Lester Library of Rome Evening Garden Seminars
Wood County Master Gardener Volunteers are partnering with the Lester Library in the town of Rome to present gardening seminars on a variety of topics every 3rd Tuesday of the month through October 2019. Presentations start at 6 and go until 7:30. The library is located at 1157 Rome Center Dr, Nekoosa, Wi 54467
