Garden Walk
Reserve Saturday, July 18, 2026 9am-4pm for our 23nd Annual Garden Walk. Six beautiful gardens in and around Wisconsin Rapids will provide a wonderful day of touring and learning.

- Tours of 6 beautiful, local gardens including lush shade and romantic Traditional gardens; examples of “Garden Rooms” and interesting hardscape; water features and whimsical container gardens; Native garden and butterfly habitat.
- Local Artists selling their garden inspired art/jewelry

- Basket Raffle and Silent Auction

Our featured Gardens this Year:
Garden 1 Al and Cheryl Marth. 1014 Church Ave (town of Saratoga).
This garden is a container garden paradise. Beautiful combinations for shade, sun, tropical, succulent, using a variety of containers and hanging baskets. Live Demos by a Master Gardener throughout the day to learn about creating a container garden you love. Register for a container garden door prize. Enjoy live music while you tour this floral oasis.
Garden 2 Ron & Sara Nelson. 1021 2nd Street, Port Edwards. This garden is unique in that it commingles fruit trees, shrubs, vegetable, flowering plants, and antiques that is both productive and ornamental. Mosaic Artist Cindy Orzel will have her nature inspired art on display and for sale.
Garden 3 Edgewater Haven Serenity Gardcn 1351 Wisconsin River Drive. Port Edwards. A Wood County Master Gardener Association project garden for 20 years, this sensory garden is designed specifically to stimulate the senses of sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell. Residents, family, and staff benefit from the respite provided by this colorful garden.
In celebration of Wood County Master Gardener Association’s 30th Anniversary, this garden will host an ice cream social from 10am-2pm. Stop and sit for awhile to enjoy the refreshments and the garden
Garden 4 Kitty & Les Johnson 1670 Spring Hill Lane, Port Edwards
This garden along the Wisconsin River is joyful and eclectic, shaped by memory, family and creativity. Heirloom perennials blend with unique garden art and accessories to make a peaceful retreat to watch the wildlife around the river. Watercolor artist, Connie Henke will be using this garden as inspiration for her Plein Air Painting. Laurie Kosmalski will have her concrete garden creation on display and for sale.
Garden 5 Cindy & Dan Zubella 1500 2nd St South, Rudolph
This garden has two foci: Native perennials, ornamental grasses and flowering shrubs that frame the area and encourage wildlife and pollinators and an ambitious vegetable garden with an inventive watering system and natural mulches. Her edible gardens include berries and apple trees. Plus, Cindy is inventive in repurposing found items for garden accents.
Central Wisconsin Wild Ones will be here to help you learn about incorporating native plants into your landscape. Artist Shannon Finnessey of Wisconsin River Metal Works and Signs will have her art on display and for sale. PLUS, student musicians from Assumption High School will play flute in the morning. The Lincoln High School Mariachi Band will play in the afternoon!
Garden 6 Micky & Gary Erickson 6846 Meadowview Lane Rudolph
Master Gardener Micky has been gardening on this property with encompasses 3 city lots, so you will see everything here: Mature trees, shrubs, perennials, vegetables in raised beds, fruits, and garden art. Be sure to get inspired by the awesome potting shed. Learn all about composting with one of our Master Gardener educators.
This garden is the site of our Basket Raffle and Silent Auction, so be sure to take a chance on some great items. Local artist Bonnie Schneider and Joe Gasch will have their nature inspired art on display and for sale.
Tickets for sale ($10) at these vendors until about noon on Friday, July 17. On the day of the event, buy a ticket ($12) at any of the featured gardens.
