Master Gardener Class Scheduled

An in-person training class, the first stop on the road to become a Master Gardener Volunteer, is planned for this fall. Follow this link for information and registration.

Sowing success! Evidence-based gardening essentials

Wood County Master Gardener Volunteer Association is a service organization whose mission is to educate the public about horticulture. We do this by sponsoring educational opportunities as well as facilitating gardening activities at various non profit organizations in our communities. Our other activities include sponsoring monthly programs for our own continuing education, holding Plant Sales and a Garden Walk for fundraising and education, staffing “Ask a Master Gardener” booths at local Farmers Market, and taking fun gardening-focused road trips.

We’d love to have you join us. Our monthly meetings are (usually) the 4th Tuesday of the month (March through November). You’re welcome to come any time. Hope to see you there!
